So today is seminary the devotional was about apperances, and a girl made a comment about how non-members think of us as strict and above them. I thought it was a good point, however the boy I sit next to told us that it was wrong, and that they think of themselves as below us. I agree with the girl about how they think we think we are above them, because of our apperance they have that thought. I never really thought about how people thought of people that dressed well and and respected themselves would have negative thoughts about them.
However another boy, different, from the first, said that some students in a class of his had better respect for him because if his apperance and the way he acts.
I guess it's just about how you look at it, you could have people judging you or people respecting you. All because of the way you look and act.
